The project consists of one (1) miscellaneous hydrant replacement, one (1) miscellaneous valve replacement, and five (5) water main abandonments. The scope of the project includes, but is not limited to, terrace restoration, pavement restoration, traffic control, and erosion control.
Winnebago County seeks bids from qualified contractors to abandon a horizontal groundwater extraction system (HGWES) beneath the Snell Road Landfill. The work includes decommissioning the system, plugging wells, removing or capping associated piping, and meeting environmental and safety requirements.
