This interdisciplinary event highlights cutting-edge research across a wide range of specific fields with emphasis on hydrology, ecology, biodiversity, and the human dimensions of this incredible wetland system. Hosted by the College of Coastal Georgia, this symposium aims to advance understanding through collaboration, dialogue, and shared discovery. Everyone is welcome! All are invited to learn, share, and connect. The Academic Symposium will be held on Friday, October 16, at the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, featuring keynote presentations by Dr. Reed Noss of the University of Central Florida and Dr. Ania Truszczynski, Deputy Director of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division.
