Planning and Zoning Board Planning and Zoning Meeting
The board considered two zoning classification change requests. The first item involved a request to change a property's zoning to agricultural use to allow for a parcel split. The second item involved a contested request for a zoning change from BU-1 to B1, which faced significant public opposition from residents of the adjacent Twin Lakes community. Neighbors expressed strong concerns regarding the removal of a long-standing 100-foot natural vegetative buffer, citing negative impacts on property values, noise levels, and light pollution, and argued for the restoration of the buffer and an associated masonry wall.
